Served From India Scheme (SFIS)

Aims to accelerate growth in service exports to create a powerful and unique ‘Served From India’ brand.

  • Service Providers having a total free foreign exchange earning of at least Rs.10 lacs in preceding financial year are entitled to a Duty Credit scrip equivalent to 10% of such foreign exchange earned.
  • This Duty Credit Scrip can be used to import any capital goods, spares, office equipment, professional equipment, office furniture and consumables which are used by the exporter in the service sector of his business
  • Duty Credit Scrip means to the extent of amount mentioned therein, customs duty need not be paid by the exporter for his above imports

Lex Valorem provides end to end support by advising, preparing the documents, submitting to DGFT and liasioning with them to ensure that the licences under the above Schemes are obtained in time for the exporters.  Closure of the licences are equally important and Lex Valorem is competent to handle that too.

Each of the schemes is very procedure oriented and document-laden but the Lex Valorem team’s professional approach will ensure that every transaction is handled with utmost attention and care and that there is no rework and resubmission, thus saving valuable time and money.
